Travelling back home to South Sudan, via the Juba-Nimule highway, Makuer and his peers have their bus attacked by two gunmen. Makuer escapes with two other students but decides to turn back and save the rest left behind. The story is based on true events. This film has been written by a young South Sudanese man who has had firsthand experience travelling this stretch of road and knows many others who have also. It is a powerful and heartbreaking story that needs to be told.
